Which Istanbul combo to book
Almost every Istanbul combo ticket is built from the same block of sights in Sultanahmet. The choice is about how many of them you want, how much guiding you want and how the day is split.
- First visit, two or three days: the Hagia Sophia + Basilica Cistern combo is the core pair. They sit across the square from each other and take a morning together. Headout and GetYourGuide sell it with an audio guide.
- You want all the big three: Headout's Istanbul Super Combo (Topkapi Palace + Hagia Sophia + Basilica Cistern) is the most booked Istanbul combo by a wide margin. GetYourGuide has a similar Istanbul Combo with audio. Plan Topkapi for a separate morning if you can.
- You prefer a guide: the Tiqets bundles pair a guided Hagia Sophia & Basilica Cistern tour (or a Blue Mosque & Basilica Cistern tour) with a Topkapi Palace skip-the-line ticket and audio guide. Their reviews are thinner than the Headout and GetYourGuide equivalents, so read them first.
- Blue Mosque included: combos with the Blue Mosque add a tour or audio guide there, since the mosque itself is free to enter.
- Beyond Sultanahmet: Dolmabahçe Palace + Bosphorus cruise or Dolmabahçe + Galata Tower cover the other side of the old city. The Hop-On Hop-Off Bus + Bosphorus Cruise combo is the easy option for a first afternoon.
- Long stay, lots of sights: a pass — Istanbul Tourist Pass, Istanbul E-pass, MegaPass with public transport — makes more sense than stacking combos.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
The Tiqets bundles here are slightly cheaper than buying their two parts separately on Tiqets. The other platforms don't show a split price, so compare them against the single tickets yourself.
The bigger value is practical. Ticket queues at Hagia Sophia, the Cistern and Topkapi can be long in high season, and a combo gives you all the entries in one order. A pass only beats a combo if you'll actually use most of what it includes.
How the tickets work
- You place one order but receive separate tickets or vouchers for each sight. Each attraction scans its own.
- Some parts are guided tours with a fixed start time and meeting point. Others are open entries with an audio guide. Check which is which on the booking page.
- Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are working mosques. Visits pause around prayer times, and modest dress is expected; women usually need a headscarf. Allow some slack in your schedule.
- At Topkapi, the Harem is a separate section. Check whether your ticket includes it.
- Cancellation rules can differ between parts and platforms, so read the conditions before you pay.
Combos Tiqets doesn't sell here
Tiqets only has two Istanbul bundles. Most of the choice comes from Headout (Super Combo, Hagia Sophia + Basilica Cistern, Topkapi + Blue Mosque guided tours, Dolmabahçe + Bosphorus cruise) and GetYourGuide (Basilica Cistern + Topkapi, Hagia Sophia + Blue Mosque, Flexible Combo with four sights). The Istanbul E-pass comes from Trip.com. We show these alongside the Tiqets bundles so you can compare them in one list.
