Which Athens combo to book
First visit, two or three days. The Athens Pass is the most booked combo on Tiqets. It joins Acropolis entry with the Acropolis Museum, a hop-on hop-off bus plus a Cape Sounion sunset trip, and an audio guide app. It is the only Tiqets product that puts the Acropolis and its museum together, which is what most people searching for an "Acropolis and museum combo ticket" want. Read what buyers say about the bus and the Sounion part before you commit: that's where the pass earns or loses its value.
Ancient sites, no extras. The Athens Mythology Pass covers the Acropolis, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Ancient Agora, each with a digital guide. To keep it smaller, Tiqets splits the same sites into pairs: Acropolis + Ancient Agora, or Ancient Agora + Temple of Olympian Zeus. All three lie close together around the foot of the hill, so one long morning can cover two of them.
Short stay, want transport. Hop-on Hop-off Bus + Acropolis comes in two versions: standard entry with an audio guide app, or skip-the-line entry with a guided tour. Useful if you have a day and a half and want the bus to link the sights.
Families. Acropolis + Museum of Illusions Athens mixes the hill with something lighter for children, and it's priced below the two tickets bought apart.
Acropolis plus several archaeological sites. Tiqets doesn't sell this. GetYourGuide's Acropolis Ticket & Heritage Sites and Headout's Athens Multipass (Acropolis + five archaeological sites with audio guide) are the closest thing to the old combined ticket.

What happened to the official combined ticket
Athens used to have an official combined ticket for the Acropolis and six other sites: the Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, Hadrian's Library, Kerameikos, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Aristotle's Lyceum. That ticket is no longer sold in its old form, which is why searches for the "Athens combo ticket official website" often lead to dead pages. Official single tickets are sold through the Hellenic Heritage portal. The multi-site products listed here are packages from Tiqets, GetYourGuide and Headout; trust each listing, not an old guidebook, for which sites are included.
Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
The Tiqets bundles in Athens are priced a little below their parts, and the ticket shows the saving. Passes work differently: the Athens Pass only pays off if you use most of what's inside. If the Sounion tour or the bus doesn't fit your plans, two separate tickets or a two-site bundle will cost less.
How the tickets work
You pay once and receive a separate ticket for each part, usually as QR codes on your phone. The Acropolis runs on timed entry, so pick your slot carefully: early morning or late afternoon means less heat and fewer groups. Download the audio guide apps before you go, since signal on the hill can be patchy. Cancellation follows the bundle as a whole and differs between products, so check the conditions on the booking page.
