Which Acropolis combo to book
Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The Athens Pass is the only product here that covers both, and the most booked one. It also includes the hop-on hop-off bus and a Cape Sounion sunset tour. That's a lot for a short stay, so only buy it if you'll use the bus and the Sounion trip.
Ancient sites. The Athens Mythology Pass covers the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora and the Temple of Olympian Zeus, all within walking distance in the centre. It's the closest thing to the old official combined ticket, with three sites instead of seven, and it's better rated than the Athens Pass. Acropolis + Ancient Agora is the two-site version.
Short stay. Hop-on Hop-off Bus Athens + Acropolis comes in two versions: one with an audio guide app, one with a skip-the-line guided tour of the Acropolis. Take the guided one if you want someone to explain what you're looking at.
Families. Acropolis + Museum of Illusions Athens adds an indoor stop for the afternoon heat.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
The Tiqets bundles cost a little less than their parts. The Athens Pass and the Mythology Pass are priced as one product, so their value depends on using every part. Some visitors (children and young EU citizens, for example) get free or reduced entry at Greek state sites, so check the official rules before you pay for a bundle.
How the tickets work
The Acropolis has timed entry: choose your slot at checkout, and favour early morning or late afternoon in summer. Each part comes as its own ticket on your phone. The audio guides are apps, so download them before you go up. Cancellation rules differ per bundle, so check the conditions on the booking page.
More combos for the rest of the city are on the Athens page, and the guide explains how combo tickets work.
