Which Vancouver combo to book

First visit. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park + Vancouver Aquarium. Capilano is in North Vancouver; the aquarium is in Stanley Park. Plan each as its own half-day. Check whether the park's shuttle from downtown is running when you visit. The aquarium can be combined with a walk or bike ride around the Stanley Park seawall, so leave time for that.

Aquarium plus one. Vancouver Aquarium + FlyOver Canada is the second most booked pair: the aquarium in Stanley Park, then the flight-ride show at Canada Place. Vancouver Lookout + Vancouver Aquarium and Vancouver Aquarium + Vancouver Art Gallery swap the ride for city views or art. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park + FlyOver Canada suits people who'd rather skip the aquarium.

City views and the waterfront. The Vancouver Explorer Card bundles the Vancouver Aquarium, the Vancouver Lookout at Harbour Centre and FlyOver Canada at Canada Place. If you don't need the aquarium, Vancouver Lookout + FlyOver Canada is sold as a two-part bundle. The Lookout and FlyOver are close together downtown, so they fit in one afternoon.

Rainy day or museum fans. The Vanier Park Attractions Pass covers the Museum of Vancouver, the Vancouver Maritime Museum and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. All three are within walking distance of each other near Kitsilano Beach, and close to Granville Island.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?

The two-part bundles, Capilano + Vancouver Aquarium included, are about 5% cheaper than buying the parts. The two passes are more about convenience: one checkout for three nearby attractions. Compare the single tickets if you'll skip one of them. The aquarium and FlyOver appear in several bundles and the Explorer Card, so make sure you don't buy the same attraction twice.

How the tickets work

You book once and get a separate ticket for each attraction, usually on your phone. Some parts may ask for a date or time slot — check each one during checkout. FlyOver Canada runs timed shows, so pick a slot that fits around the Lookout visit. Cancellation can differ per part; read the conditions on the booking page. More in how combo tickets work.

Taking the ferry to the island? See Victoria. Heading east, see Niagara Falls.

Questions

Is the Capilano and Vancouver Aquarium combo worth it?
It's the most booked Vancouver combo and slightly cheaper than the two tickets. It suits a first visit, as long as you split the two across a day or two.
What is the Vancouver Explorer Card?
On Tiqets it's a pass for three attractions: the Vancouver Aquarium, the Vancouver Lookout with an audio guide, and FlyOver Canada. It's not a full city card.
Which museums are in the Vanier Park pass?
The Museum of Vancouver, the Vancouver Maritime Museum and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, all in Vanier Park.
Is there a Vancouver Aquarium and FlyOver Canada combo?
Yes. Tiqets sells Vancouver Aquarium + FlyOver Canada as a two-part bundle, and both are also in the Vancouver Explorer Card with the Vancouver Lookout. See the Vancouver Aquarium page for its other pairings.
Do I have to use both tickets on the same day?
Usually not. Check the booking page to see whether you pick a date per part or get a validity window.
