Which canal cruise combo to book
Spring visit. The Tulip Festival Card is the most reviewed combo here: Keukenhof entry with a round-trip bus from Amsterdam, a digital guide and the Lovers canal cruise. The Lovers Canal Cruise + Keukenhof bundle is similar, with the bus leaving from A'DAM Tower. Keukenhof only opens for a few weeks in spring, so these make sense only in season; pick a weekday if you can.
First visit, museums. The Amsterdam Pass pairs the canal cruise with the Van Gogh Museum and an audio guide app. Book the museum slot first, because Van Gogh entries are timed and sell out, then fit the cruise around it.
Families. ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo + Lovers canal cruise is the most booked of the two-part bundles. NEMO Science Museum + canal cruise is the easy pair with children; NEMO is a short walk from Central Station, where the Lovers cruise boards. Madame Tussauds + canal cruise works for the same reason, as Madame Tussauds is on Dam Square. Older kids may prefer The Amsterdam Dungeon + canal cruise.
Adults' afternoon. Heineken Experience + Lovers canal cruise is the popular grown-up pair; a cheese and wine cruise version also exists. Moco Museum + canal cruise is sold both as a pass (cruise from the Rijksmuseum) and as a bundle (from Central Station).
Getting around. Lovers Canal Cruise + GVB public transport adds trams, buses and metro in the city. The Dutch Countryside Card goes further with the City & Region Travel Ticket, for trips to villages and towns around Amsterdam.
Amsterdam Noord. THIS IS HOLLAND (a flight-simulation film over the Netherlands) and the Amsterdam Noord Pass with Nxt Museum use the cruise from A'DAM Tower. THIS IS HOLLAND also comes with a pancake boat trip from NDSM, and the A'DAM Lookout + Lovers cruise bundle adds the tower's viewing deck with a drink.
History and art. Rembrandt House Museum comes with the Blue Boat or Lovers cruise, and an Anne Frank & Jewish Quarter guided tour comes with a cruise from the Anne Frank House.
Immersive art. Fabrique des Lumières, with its Renaissance masters projection show, pairs with the Lovers cruise for a rainy-day plan.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
The bundles (cruise with GVB transport, Keukenhof, ARTIS, Heineken, NEMO or Madame Tussauds) are about 5% cheaper than buying the two tickets separately on Tiqets; Heineken + the cheese and wine cruise is about 8% cheaper. The passes, including the Tulip Festival Card and The Amsterdam Pass, are single products, so there's no like-for-like comparison. Their value is one checkout and the timed entries settled in advance.
How the tickets work
You receive a ticket per part, usually on your phone. The cruise and the attraction scan their own tickets. Check the boarding point for the cruise (Central Station or A'DAM Tower), the time slot for timed entries like the Van Gogh Museum, and the bus times for Keukenhof. Cancellation conditions differ per part; read them on the booking page. More bundles are on the Amsterdam page; for nearby cities see Rotterdam and The Hague. The guide explains how combos work.
