Which ARTIS combo to book
First day in Amsterdam. ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo + Lovers Canal Cruise is the most booked combo, by a long way. The cruise starts at Central Station; ARTIS is in the Plantage district east of the centre, a tram ride or walk away.
Families with kids. ARTIS + ARTIS-Micropia is the easiest pair, since Micropia is right by the zoo entrance. Its few reviews are all top marks. ARTIS + NEMO Science Museum pairs the zoo with the hands-on science museum near the harbour; both suit children, though doing both in one day is a lot.
Something different. Madame Tussauds Amsterdam + ARTIS is the second most booked combo and well rated. Madame Tussauds is on Dam Square. ARTIS + BODY WORLDS: The Happiness Project includes a skip-the-line ticket for the anatomy exhibition on the Damrak; better for teenagers and adults. ARTIS + Amsterdam's Weirdest Museum pairs the zoo with Ripley's Believe It or Not on Dam Square; it has very few reviews so far.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
Every ARTIS bundle here is a little cheaper than buying the two tickets separately. It's a modest saving, plus one checkout. The zoo is a long visit, so the main question is whether you'll have the energy for the second part on the same day.
How the tickets work
You book once and get a separate ticket for each part on your phone. Pick a date for the zoo and for the other attraction, and a time slot where one is asked. Canal cruises have their own departure points and times; check where yours leaves. Cancellation conditions can differ per part, so check them on the booking page.
