Which Vatican Museums combo to book

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
Most of these bundles are a little cheaper than buying the same two Tiqets products separately. The bigger value is a fixed fast-track slot at the Vatican, where the regular ticket queue can be long, and one checkout for both sights.

Does the Vatican Museums ticket include the Sistine Chapel?
Yes. The Sistine Chapel is part of the Vatican Museums visit, so a Museums ticket gets you in. There's no separate Sistine Chapel ticket to buy.
Is there a Vatican and Colosseum combo ticket?
Yes, Tiqets has three bundles. All pair Vatican fast-track entry with a Colosseum ticket that includes the Mamertine Prison; one adds a sightseeing bus tour and one adds the Pantheon. Is St. Peter's Basilica included?
Not in the two-part bundles. The Rome Tourist Card and the Vatican City Pass add escorted entry to St. Peter's Basilica with an audio guide. Otherwise you enter the basilica separately from the square, so plan a separate queue for it.
Can I visit the Vatican and the Colosseum on the same day?
You can, but both are long visits on opposite sides of the centre. If the combo lets you pick separate dates, use two mornings.
What should I wear?
Shoulders and knees should be covered for the Sistine Chapel and other religious spaces. Plan for it, especially in summer.
