Which Lisbon bus combo to book
Sintra included. The Lisbon Pass is the most booked: a 24 or 48-hour hop-on hop-off bus, Jerónimos Monastery, Pena Palace in Sintra with an optional transfer, and an audio guide app. It covers a lot, but the reviews are mixed. Pena alone takes most of a day, so the 48-hour bus makes more sense.
Bus plus one sight. Hop-on Hop-off Bus + Jerónimos Monastery fits Belém into a bus day. Hop-on Hop-off Bus + Oceanário de Lisboa does the same for the aquarium at Parque das Nações. Smaller pairs add Lisbon Cathedral, the Banksy Museum, or the tower of St. George's Castle church with a drink; all three have very few reviews so far.
Families. HIPPOtrip + Lisbon Zoo is the best-rated combo here. Oceanário de Lisboa + HIPPOtrip and HIPPOtrip + Museum of Illusions are the other two. HIPPOtrip leaves at fixed times, so book it first and fit the zoo, aquarium or museum around it.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
Most bundles are a little cheaper than buying the parts separately, about five percent. The bus + Oceanário and the Oceanário + HIPPOtrip bundles do better than that. The Lisbon Pass and the other passes are priced as one product, so compare them with the parts you'd really use.
How the tickets work
You pay once and get a ticket for each part on your phone. The bus runs for 24 or 48 hours from first use; the monuments and HIPPOtrip have their own dates and sometimes time slots. Check the opening days of Jerónimos and Pena before fixing the date, and read the cancellation conditions for each part on the booking page.
