Which Sintra combo to book
First visit, one day. National Palace of Pena & Park + Castelo dos Mouros is by far the most booked Sintra combo on Tiqets, and it's the pair people search for as the "Pena Palace and Moorish Castle combo ticket". The two sit on the same hill: the painted palace and its park on one side, the old castle walls on a neighbouring ridge. The Pena ticket includes an optional transfer up the hill.
Want the gardens and the well. Pena Palace + Quinta da Regaleira mixes the hilltop palace with the estate near the town centre known for its initiation well and grottoes. Quinta da Regaleira comes with a digital audio guide. Plan the order so you go up to Pena first and walk down towards the Quinta later.
Quieter gardens. Pena + Monserrate Palace adds the botanical park and palace west of town. Castelo dos Mouros + Monserrate does the same for people who prefer the castle to Pena. Both are priced below the two tickets bought apart.
Short on time, staying in town. National Palace of Sintra + Monserrate Palace, or Castelo dos Mouros + National Palace of Sintra. The National Palace is right in the centre, so it's the easiest add-on.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
Most Sintra bundles on Tiqets are priced a little below their parts, and the ticket shows the saving. The most booked pair, Pena + Moorish Castle, is more about convenience: two entries and the transfer option in one order.
How the tickets work
You pay once and receive separate tickets for each site. Check the time slot on your Pena ticket for the palace interior, and leave time to get up the hill. Wear good shoes: paths between the sites are steep. Many visitors come from Lisbon by train; give yourself the full day. Cancellation follows the bundle, so check the conditions on the booking page.
