Which Statue of Liberty combo to book
Nearly every combo here includes the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island; one Empire State Building bundle uses a sightseeing cruise instead, so check whether it stops at the islands. What changes is the second sight.
- View-chasers: Statue of Liberty + Edge NYC, or Statue of Liberty + Top of the Rock. Do the harbour in the morning and the deck at sunset. Edge is at Hudson Yards, Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center. One Top of the Rock bundle uses the New Jersey ferry.
- Classic first visit: Statue of Liberty + Empire State Building. The most booked version uses the ferry from Manhattan and the 86th-floor deck; others use the New Jersey ferry, a guided tour on the islands, express entry at the Empire State, or a harbour cruise. Check the ferry and the deck ticket before you book.
- Lower Manhattan in one day: Statue of Liberty + 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the best rated pair here, or Statue of Liberty + One World Observatory. The NYC Lower Manhattan Tourist Card covers all three, and a second 9/11 bundle includes a guided tour on the island. Everything is within walking distance of Battery Park.
- Museum day uptown: American Museum of Natural History + a guided Liberty tour. It has only a couple of reviews so far, and they are low.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
Here, often yes. The Edge bundle and the main Top of the Rock bundle show the biggest saving against the separate tickets on Tiqets; the Empire State and 9/11 bundles are a smaller discount. The Lower Manhattan card is sold as one product, so compare it with the parts you actually want. The ticket in the list shows the current saving.
How the tickets work
- You get a separate ticket for each part, usually on your phone.
- The ferry has security screening before boarding. Allow time and pack light.
- Plan at least half a day for Liberty and Ellis Island together.
- Observation decks use time slots. Book the deck for later in the day so a slow ferry queue doesn't cost you the slot.
