Which SUMMIT combo to book
Two views. Edge NYC + SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is the most booked combo in New York. Edge gives you an outdoor deck on the west side; SUMMIT sits next to Grand Central, with mirrored rooms and glass floors. Do them on different days, or one in daylight and the other at dusk. Empire State Building + SUMMIT is the next most booked deck pair, a classic Midtown view next to a modern one, and Top of the Rock + SUMMIT also exists, with a larger saving but few reviews so far.
A view and a museum. MoMA + SUMMIT is the best rated pair. MoMA is a short walk north in Midtown, so it fits into one afternoon. American Museum of Natural History + SUMMIT and Guggenheim + SUMMIT take you up to Central Park instead, and The 9/11 Memorial & Museum + SUMMIT splits the day between downtown and Midtown.
Families. The Central Park Bundle + SUMMIT covers the American Museum of Natural History, Central Park Zoo and SUMMIT. That's two days' worth for most families, so check the validity. AMNH + SUMMIT and Central Park Zoo + SUMMIT are the lighter versions. Madame Tussauds + SUMMIT keeps everything in Midtown; Bronx Zoo, New York Aquarium and Museum of Ice Cream pairs exist too, with few reviews.
City pass users. Go City New York Explorer Pass + SUMMIT gives you SUMMIT plus a set number of attractions picked from the Go City list. Go City The New York Pass + SUMMIT is the multi-day version with the full attraction list; check the listing for what it covers.
Something else. SUMMIT is also bundled with a Circle Line Landmarks cruise, Chicago on Broadway and Mercer Labs, each with only a handful of reviews.

Is a combo cheaper than separate tickets?
The bundles (Edge + SUMMIT, Empire State Building + SUMMIT, Central Park Zoo + SUMMIT, the Go City pairs and the rest) cost slightly less than their parts; Top of the Rock + SUMMIT and AMNH + SUMMIT save a little more. MoMA + SUMMIT and the Central Park Bundle are priced as one product, so there's no saving to compare. Their value is one checkout with both slots booked.
How the tickets work
You get a separate ticket for each attraction, usually on your phone. SUMMIT runs on timed entry. Low cloud can hide the view, so look at the forecast before you fix the slot and check the rebooking rules. Extras such as Ascent or a drink are not part of the combo unless the listing says so; a few bundles include them. Cancellation rules differ per bundle, so check the conditions on the booking page.
All New York combos, including the Statue of Liberty and 9/11 bundles, are on the New York page. The guide explains how combos work.
